What the AI does
When you upload a contract or run a comparison, the extracted text of the selected document(s) is sent to our AI provider — OpenAI, via its API (or the provider configured for your deployment) — which returns the structured analysis you see in the product: summary, parties, dates, clauses, risks, obligations, missing clauses, comparison results and risk scores.
How your text is handled
Requests are sent with provider-side storage disabled: the provider is instructed not to retain request or response payloads beyond transient processing, and API traffic is not used to train their models under their API terms.
The resulting analysis is stored in your workspace alongside the contract and is deleted with it.
Limits of AI output
AI-generated analysis is informational only. It may be incomplete or inaccurate, and risk scores are indicative estimates, not legal opinions. It does not constitute legal advice; consult a qualified lawyer before making decisions with legal consequences.
Where a document could only be partially analyzed (for example due to size limits), the product marks the result as partial and withholds recommendations.
Your choices
Do not upload documents you are not permitted to process. You can delete any contract, workspace or your account at any time; the associated analyses are deleted with them. Questions: office@qedara.com.
